私たちは「qatu＝手＝手偏」を漢字
由来の言葉だと思っている人が多い
ようですが、アッカド語を学んだ後
はアッカド語由来の言葉と断言でき
ます。漢字より起源の古いアッカド
語やシュメール語の当て字が「手＝
qatu＝shu」です。「掴む」の名護
方言は「qatim＝カチミ」ンと何度
も述べました。
